Creating a new group

Groups are clusters of environments (Database connections) that can be used to bundle and organise the IT infrastructure of your organisation.

Environments can be subdivided and added into groups in multiple ways, such as:

• Database infrastructure (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2, etc.)
• On a project-by-project basis
• Separate teams of testers

Now that we understand the usage of groups, let's make our first one.

• Click on 'New group'
• Type 'FirstProject' as project name
• Click on Create

Your project can now be opened by clicking on the project name.
